Hi, I am Birthe.

I photograph personalities. And I notice tiny treasures.

Those two things have more in common than you might think.

When I photograph people and animals, I am curious about their individuality. I look for expressions, attitudes, quirks, and the little details that make each one distinctive.

When I turn my camera toward the world around me, that same curiosity draws me to dramatic skies, beautiful light, unusual textures, and small wonders that are easy to overlook.

What connects these two sides of my photography is a genuine interest in what makes my subjects worth a closer look.

I want my photographs to be artistic without losing what makes the subject authentic. I want to preserve the quality that caught my attention in the first place.

Artistic in how I see. Authentic in how I tell it.
